"Killing Game" by Eugene Ionesco, trans. Helen Gary Bishop

EUGENE IONESCO has created an outrageous and brutally dark, satirical comedy which explores the human condition. Through bizarre and inspired imagery, Ionesco contends that the Human Drama itself is as absurd as it is painful. Yet in the face of this absurdity, hope triumphs over despair. Presented by the UWinnipeg Department of Theatre and Film. Directed by Shelagh Carter. Free. Reservations: 204-786-9152 (24-hours); http://theatre.uwinnipeg.ca; or tickets at the door.
