1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) gin
1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) sweet vermouth (preferably half Italian and half French)
2 dashes Fernet Branca liqueur
Place all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir well.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Twist an orange peel over the drink, and, if you like, place the peel in the drink.
