What is it?

Oksusu cha, literally "corn tea," is a traditional Korean tisane or herbal tea made by steeping roasted corn kernels in boiling water.

Looks like:

The dark brown kernels look like the unpopped kernels that end up at the bottom of your popcorn bowl.

Tastes like:

Roasted corn tea has a mildly sweet and distinctly corn flavour. Sugar may be added if more sweetness is desired.

Used in:

In Korean, oksusu cha is commonly enjoyed hot in the winter and cold during summer. It can be drunk on its own or with meals and is said to boost digestion and intestinal health. It is often combined with roasted barley tea, or "bori cha," as the corn's sweetness offsets the slight bitterness of the barley.
