Winnipeg Free Press - PRINT EDITION
Today's Horoscope
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Go easy on yourself today because it's mildly unsettling in a way that's hard to put your finger on. It's easy to be down on yourself or have second doubts. You feel restless and edgy. Therefore, acknowledge this and pamper yourself. Do something good for you! (I'm thinking chocolate.)
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Something's at odds with a friend today or a member of a group. Perhaps something unexpected or bizarre occurs that later creates tension or mutual disappointment. Actually, it's small potatoes. But it's never nice when things are off between friends.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
A parent, boss, teacher or VIP might suddenly get excited today or freak out about something, and later, this bothers you. This is just one possible scenario of the map of the heavens. Something or someone will surprise you in some way
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
Be careful. This is a mildly accident-prone day. It's an accident-prone day both physically and verbally. Therefore, slow down. Don't move too quickly; don't drive too quickly; don't speak too quickly. Apparently the ancient meaning of the word scruples meant "to hesitate."
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Something unpredictable or a bit upsetting could hit your cash flow, your earnings or your finances today. It's not really a big deal, nevertheless, check your bank account. You don't want cheques bouncing like rubber balls. You might have to scrounge for cash today.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Partnerships and close friendships are not as lovey-dovey as they might be today. One of you might do or say something that upsets the other. As a result, a bit of stiffness or strain could exist. Just ignore this and move on; and everything will be fine.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Expect interruptions at work today due to computer crashes, power outages, technical failures, staff shortages, or unpredictable events. Actually, it's a minor stuff -- but it's there. Like a baby vampire. Makes it hard to concentrate, doesn't it?
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Parents should be extra vigilant about their children today. Ditto for teachers and those who work with children. This is an accident-prone day for children under your care. Similarly, sports, romance and the arts are also very dicey.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Zip thy lip today. Be your easy-going self with family members, bosses and teachers. It's easy to be annoyed and take a defensive stance, but what good will that do? It won't make you feel any better. It won't make others feel better. Therefore, be relaxed about stuff. Big deal.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is a mildly accident-prone day, so be careful walking, talking and doing anything. Slow down; take it easy. Think before you speak. If others are bit standoffish, pay no attention. Just focus on what you're doing.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You might have some mild money concerns today. It would also be a good idea to make friends with your bank account. You might find money; you might lose money. You might break something you own or find something you lost. It's an unpredictable day with possessions and cash.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
The moon is in your sign today lining up with wild, wacky Uranus and opposing stern Saturn. This could create difficulty between you and partners and close friends. I suggest you ignore whatever troubles you. Pick another day to discuss the problem.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Philanthropist Avie Bennett (1928) shares your birthday. You're dedicated to whatever you do; many of you are workaholics. People think you're confident. You extremely capable; you can work alone or you can work well with a team. However, it's important to learn how to balance all your hard work with some play! Many of you have gone through important changes this year. Next year is full of romance and social fun!
