Winnipeg Free Press - PRINT EDITION
Today's Horoscope
MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 11:15 p.m. until 5:20 p.m. today. After that the moon moves from Gemini to Cancer.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
This is an accident -prone day. Be careful. Think before you speak or act. Accidents could be physical or verbal. However, your level of awareness will have to extend beyond yourself. Be careful about the accidental tendencies of those around you. You need to watch yourself and others.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Finances are unpredictable today. You might find money; you might lose money. You might find a lost possession or lose a new one. You might break something that you own. You might discover a new way to earn money or a source of income could be threatened. It's a crapshoot today. (It was ever thus.)
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
You feel restless, rebellious and independent. You don't want to do anything if something else is giving the orders. You want to call your own shots; but even then, you don't feel too much like working very hard. You feel a cross between being agitated and sulky. (That might go with a nice Merlot.)
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
It's very easy to feel agitated about practically anything today. In fact, you might feel agitated for no reason. (That's the worst kind of agitation. You have nothing to complain about.) How unfair. Fortunately, this feeling will pass. Especially if you drink a lot of water.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Friends will surprise you today. Or you might meet someone new who is very different or unconventional in some way. Something about your relationships with friends and groups is definitely unpredictable. (Remember: Friends don't let friends drive naked.)
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Relationships with authority figures -- bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs, including the police -- are very dicey today. Don't get lippy with anyone. (And you will likely be tempted to do so.) This is a passing influence, so be sensible. Don't do anything you'll later regret. Forewarned is forearmed.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Interruptions to travel, schooling, publishing, the media, medicine and law are likely today. You might also have a minor skirmish with someone about politics, religion or racial issues. Discussions can easily become explosive. People are touchy today.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Something unpredictable with your partner's money and earnings or shared property or anything to do with debt, inheritances and taxes might occur today. Somebody might throw you a real curveball, or let you down in terms of what you were expecting to get from them. (Not again!)
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Guard against being hasty or jumping to conclusions while talking to partners and close friends today. You feel on edge and you also feel rebellious. If someone suggests something to you, your knee-jerk reaction will be to do the opposite. Do you see a problem here?
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Interruptions at work are unavoidable today. Expect computer crashes, power outages, fire drills, technical problems, staff shortages, cancelled appointments or other unexpected events that will make your day go sideways.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Parents and teachers must be extra-vigilant with children today because this is an accident-prone day for children in your care. Little meltdowns or flare-ups could also occur because others feel rebellious and extremely independent. Just be cool. (You're the adult.)
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
Interruptions to your home scene are likely today. Unexpected company might surprise you. Or people that you were expecting could be a no-show. Small appliances might break down or minor breakages could occur. Slow down and keep it low-key. (Especially avoid intense discussions with female relatives.)
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Hockey player Nicklas Lidström (1970) shares your birthday today. Loyalty is a strong trait within you, along with courage. Those who know you never doubt your reliability, dependability and perseverance. You're also capable of miraculously surviving physical hardships as well as emotional stress. You are rock solid. You're also a great friend and lover. This year you are meant to learn something new and important to you. Give yourself this chance.
