WHAT CAN I GET FOR HER?: 5 fab answers

Solve the ultimate holiday question

There are 11 shopping days left till Christmas if you include today, and while I can bet the panic of last-minute shopping hasn't set in quite yet, you know it's coming.

Just the thought of hordes of people cramming over-heated malls and fighting over whatever is left on the sales floor is enough to make you want to get those last few names crossed off your list ASAP and reclaim some of those shopping days back to relax.

Lucky for you I am here to help with my Five Fab Gifts for Gals picks for 2013 -- and to be perfectly honest, this was actually a bit of a difficult task because there is just so much fabulous stuff to choose from this year.

Beautifeye Luscious Lashes

Giving a gift of lashes may seem odd, but if the lady on your list is obsessed with her mascara it might make the perfect present. Beautifeye is the only lash boutique in the city offering this unique service that involves layering multiple ultra-fine lash extensions on the existing lash line to create thick lush lashes.

Manitou Fleece Jacket from Voila by Andreanne

Forget the Lululemon hoodie this year and get that gal on the list something way more stylish and unique to keep her cosy during these dreary winter months. Hand-screened with the Spirit of the North print by Manitoba Métis artist David Albert, this fleece warmer features an oversized hood and tie-wrap detailing.

A Statement Piece

A stunning statement piece is ideal for the fashionista who always strives to set herself apart from the pack. Ideal gifts include a chunky bib necklace or multi-strand necklace, a chunky Swarovski pendant by Tara Davis (my personal fave) or a thick metal cuff.

Sugar Blossom Designs Bracelet

I absolutely can't express how much I love these cute little bracelets because they make the ideal girlfriend gift. They come in pretty girly hues and patterns that look fabulous stacked together and even better if you opt to customize them with a cute little tassel. For those looking to give a gift of glam, Sugar Blossom Designs has created a line of bracelets adorned with three sparkly appliques and another featuring brass chains.

 Leotie Lovely Vintage Clutch

Don't know her size? Fret not -- you can still bestow the gift of fashion with one of these limited-edition clutches. Each clutch is hand-crafted and incorporates vintage textiles, deadstock leather and is adorned with a hand-carved ox bone steer head from Bali.
