My Stuff: Issy Dahl
Finalist, The Next Star
If your house were on fire, heaven forbid, what’s the one item contained within that you would try to take with you? (People, pets and computers not included.)
My fridge. Just kidding. Um, probably my slippers because I hate when I’m cold. My slippers keep me warm and I wear them inside and outside.
What’s the one clothing/fashion item you can’t live without?
My slippers! Just kidding. Scarves, I love scarves! Again, I hate being cold and scarves keep me warm, plus you can wear them as an accessory and they complete an outfit. Who doesn’t love scarves?
What’s your favourite knick-knack and why?
A tiny wooden turtle that I got from Mexico. It’s little and orange and it’s so cute. I like it because I have a birthmark on my tummy that is in the shape of a turtle.
What’s the oldest thing you own?
My Build-a-Bear, Patches. I got her when I was nine so I guess she’s not that old but she’s probably the oldest thing I own that I really love.
Describe your most beloved piece of furniture.
My family’s hammock swing in the screen porch at the cabin. We’ve had it for so long and it’s the best place to read a book, kick up your feet and relax. Also, if you’re in the mood, it’s the perfect way to have some fun without having to walk to the playground.
Is there an edible item we’ll always find in your pantry or fridge?
Realistically, we have a lot of diced tomatoes but in my dreams we’d have a whole lot of Nutella and Superstore cookies!
