If your house were on fire, heaven forbid, what’s the one item contained within that you would try to take with you? (People, pets and computers not included.)

I have three children, so the first thing that comes to mind is trying to save something that is important to them. Since I can chose only one item, it would be Joe, the Snoopy-looking teddy bear that my six-year-old has been cuddling with for three years. Joe is pretty special and I might even consider going back into a burning house for him.

What’s the one clothing/fashion item you can’t live without?

Plain black T-shirts.

What’s your favourite knick-knack and why?

My Corner Gas coffee cup. Life is so Canadian and simple on that TV show. I always feel relaxed when I watch it while enjoying my coffee in that cup.

What’s the oldest thing you own?

My wedding ring, which was my father’s wedding ring.

Describe your most beloved piece of furniture.

My hot tub — under the stars year round.

Is there an edible item we’ll always find in your pantry or fridge?

Grapes. My wife buys them for the kids, thank goodness, but I eat the most.
