MOON ALERT

We have the all clear today to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions.

The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) You’re focused on earnings, cash flow and, possibly, expenditures or shopping. For the main part, this is a pretty solid day but do be aware that at some point this afternoon, you might feel financially depressed or you could encounter someone who blocks you in some way. It’s brief. (Grrr.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) The moon is in your sign, which makes this a bit more of an emotional day for you. However, it also makes it a bit of a lucky day as well. Yay! Nevertheless, difficulties with a partner might arise in the afternoon. Fortunately, it’s a fleeting thing. Be patient. Overlook any nasty moments.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) You’ve been active and unusually popular with others, which is why today you might seek a little privacy. You’ll prefer to work alone or behind the scenes. (No biggie.) In fact, a forbidding authority figure might drive you to doing this. (Run away! Run away!)

CANCER (June 21-July 22) Discussions with friends, especially a female, will be significant today. This is a good day to share your hopes and dreams for the future with others to get their feedback, which will be helpful.

Disregard someone older who is critical. (One in every crowd.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Private details about your personal life might be rather public today. Perhaps this is why discussions with a parent or an authority figure are a bit tense at some point this afternoon? You might feel like someone is on your case.

(Sheesh!) Relax, this is fleeting.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Do whatever you can to satisfy your urge to have some adventure. You want a change of scenery, you want stimulation, and you want to learn something new.

Nothing wrong with that. Just be aware of this and do something different!

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Discussions with partners have been irritating and rewarding but, on the whole, very good. Today, however, you’re focused on debt, taxes and tying up loose ends with wills, estates and inheritances. Good to get this out of the way. (Someone might be nagging you.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Be prepared to compromise with others, especially female friends and partners.

Don’t be rigid. And try not to see things in black-and-white terms. All successful relationships need give and take, tolerance and compromise. No question.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) It will please you to do something to make you feel you’re better organized and more on top of your game. This can be anything from taking needless items out of your medicine cabinet, to tidying up magazines and newspapers, or putting away work-related items. Just do it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Even though your emphasis has been on home and family right now, today you feel playful. In fact, you might play hooky. (But probably you won’t. You value your reputation too much.) Take a long lunch and enjoy good times with others.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Discussions with a female relative, perhaps Mom, might take place. At some point this afternoon, things could be tense and you might feel cut off, lonely or depressed. But do take note; this is a very brief influence! It passes quickly.

(Especially if you drink water.) PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) This is a busy day. Short trips and conversations with others will intrigue you.

Above all, you don’t want to be bored.

This afternoon is not an ideal time to ask authority figures for approval or permission. Just keep skating. Tomorrow is a much better day.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

Actor Peter Riegert (1947) shares your birthday. You can be happy leading or following as long as you feel you are useful. You are genuinely interested in what others have to say, which is why you are diplomatic. Many of you can mediate difficulties between others.

You’re a nurturer with strong family values. You give support when needed. In the year ahead, a major choice will arise. Choose wisely.
