Band Simple Plan partners with Kiehl's
Canadian pop-punk band Simple Plan (remember them?) and Kiehl's have teamed up for a rocking collaboration.
Dubbed Kiehl's Rock for Kids, the charitable partnership will help raise funds for the Simple Plan Foundation, which provides support such as helping teenagers make the difficult transition to adulthood, supporting kids with life-threatening illnesses, and promoting the practice of music as a tool to help young kids find passion in life.
"We are delighted to be partnering with a socially conscious band like Simple Plan and work together to make a real difference in children lives," Kristin Armstrong, vice-president and general manager of Kiehl's Canada said in a press release. "Staying true to our long-standing mission of supporting local initiatives, Kiehl's and Simple Plan will help ensure kids have a happy childhood, something every child deserves."
The collaboration will include the release of a limited-edition version of the skin care brand's Ultra Facial Cream, with all net profits going directly to the foundation.
Through the fundraising initiatives, the skin care company hopes to raise $40,000 for the Simple Plan Foundation in Canada.
Artist Jessica Bell's new collection at Aritzia
Vancouver-based clothing company Aritzia is putting Canadian artist Jessica Bell in the spotlight with a new collection.
Part of the brand's Wilfred line, the release features five pieces showcasing a predominantly blue-hued print by Bell from her series titled Portage! Portage!
"We partnered with Jessica because she is a young Canadian artist whose art inspires our walls and palette inspires our collection," said Tenille Magnuson, creative director of Wilfred for Aritzia.
The collection, which includes a silk, long-sleeved dress, a silk blouse, two long-sleeved T-shirts and a casual jersey tee, costs $45 to $195.
Nine West, InStyle team up again
Nine West and InStyle fashion magazine have renewed their partnership.
The fall collection includes "expertly-crafted and editor-designed shoes, handbags and jewelry."
The InStyle for Nine West collection, which is in stores now, includes rich bordeaux shades, deep navy-blue hues and cool leopard prints on six new shoe styles and accessories, from $50 to $295.
