Health Tip: Using a Stability Ball

It can help improve muscle strength and coordination

(HealthDay News) -- If you're thinking about using one of those extra-large inflatable orbs called a stability ball as part of your exercise routine, the American Council on Exercise says the product can help:

  • Strengthen the core muscles in the abdomen and lower back.
  • Improve balance of strength between the abdominal and lower back muscles.
  • Improve posture.
  • Improve balance.
  • Help create a stronger core that better supports your body during any activity.
