Her eating habits, exercise and especially how she tackles every day, it's all been reconstructed. She had gastric sleeve surgery last Jan. 16 and has been winning at the weight-loss game. She has lost 104 pounds so far and is two-thirds to her goal weight of 150 pounds. I love being in the water, so deep and shallow water aquafit as well as deep-water running are my favourites. My best workout though, is with my trainer Jordan (Cieciwa) at Snap Fitness. I never thought I'd enjoy exercising at the gym, but I find I crave it now. I do my workouts with him at 8 a.m., so when I'm driving home dripping sweat by 9:15 a.m. I'm feeling pretty smug that I've already done my exercise for the day.
Favourite workout song?
I'm a fiddle player so I usually listen to tunes that I'm in the process of learning. I also have a playlist on my iPod called "OMGILOVETHISSONG!" that has everything from Procol Harem's Conquistador to classic country music to sappy '80s love ballads.
Jordan writes a blog for the Huffington Post and one of them was about finding activities that you love to do and that are fun. If you don't like riding a stationary bike, don't ride a stationary bike!
