Today's Horoscope
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
You're very much in touch with your ideals and your dreams for the future today. In fact, because of this, your idealism sort of pushes out into the world, and makes you see others in very idealistic terms. You might suddenly admire a friend or see someone as almost a guru to you. Kinda cool.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
You feel sensitive to others. This could apply to an authority figure in your life. Suddenly you see someone in heroic terms. It might even be your parent or your boss or perhaps a teacher. Conversely, the opposite might happen and you suddenly feel disappointed in someone. (The first is more fun.)
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
This is a wonderful day to appreciate beauty. Enjoy the beautiful architecture around you, or parks, or pristine nature; or perhaps you can visit galleries, museums and places of beautiful artifacts and the creations of others. Even ideas, philosophies and religions will appeal. Give yourself a treat!
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
You feel very sympathetic to others, especially if you're in a position to do fundraising for those who are needy or you can use the resources of others for a good cause. If you have to split something or divide an inheritance, make sure you have a good dose of healthy self-interest.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
You feel particularly sympathetic and empathetic with partners and close friends today. If you can do anything to help someone, you will. It's easy to feel generous and put the interests of others before your own. It's a Mother Teresa kind of day.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It's a curious day at work. You feel unusually sympathetic to co-workers. In fact, you feel rather kindly to everyone. Nevertheless, it's also easy to be confused or to be deceived in a naive way. It's a tricky call.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It's a lovely day to enjoy the arts and anything that promotes fun and pleasure! Romance and love affairs will be breathtakingly romantic (at least, they could be and they will be for some). You feel very kind and sensitive to children.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You feel very idealistic about your home scene today; or perhaps you're keen to help a family member. Nevertheless, there's also a possibility of confusion because of wishing to see things as they might be instead of really seeing them as they truly are.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Your mind can soar to great heights of imagination today. In fact, it might be difficult to concentrate on the usual, routine work. Instead, you want to escape to realms of fantasy and daydreaming. (Oh well, we all need to take a mental-health day now and then.)
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Try to be grounded and realistic about money matters today. When it comes to buying something, you're very tempted to get something extravagantly luxurious and elegant, which is just fine if you can pay for it. (The catch.)
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Feelings of goodwill to others are in your heart today. But more than that, your own feelings of goodwill for the world in general are strong because you have hope! A recent shift in a big paradigm seems to augur well for you and your hopes for the world.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
You feel truly selfless today. Because of this, you'll put the needs and wants of others before your own. While this is a noble impulse, you have to be realistic. If you don't take care of yourself, you won't be able to help anyone!
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Actor Michael Ironside (1950) shares your birthday. You have excellent mediating skills because you're quick to see where each person is coming from. You understand the human psyche. Not only that, you have a talent for seeing all sides of a situation; plus you're persuasive when you want to be. Give yourself an opportunity to study or learn something important this year.
