Here are Buzz, (orange, 7) and Boomer (grey, 13) patiently waiting for Santa. About five years ago I went with my daughter to pick out a kitten at the Winnipeg Humane Society. As we were leaving the cat area I felt a strong need to turn around and there was an orange cat with his nose pressed up to the bars and an intense plea in his eyes. I was drawn back to those pleading eyes and that's when I saw a huge grey cat, curled up sleeping in a corner of the same large cage. The sign said they had to be adopted together and I instantly knew they were meant to be mine. As a longtime Bomber fan I immediately named them Buzz and Boomer and have never been sorry that I turned around that day.

Bailey is an 18-month-old Australian shepherd who loves children. She has boundless energy and loves to play and romp in the snow, catching frisbees or balls. She also loves Christmas!
