Gem

This is Gem, our newest addition. We had agreed to foster her from Hulls Haven Border Collie Rescue but simply could not let her go. She joins our pack of three other rescued border collies as well as three spoiled rats.

-- Mike Sudoma

Toby

This is Toby, who currently resides in British Columbia. I used to live in Winnipeg and read the Free Press online as often as I can to keep up with my favourite city.

-- Don Horn

Sienna

Sienna is a 11/2-year-old rescue we brought up from North Dakota. Winnipeg was meant for her! She could play in the snow for hours and likes to stick her head out of the window when driving -- even during blizzards!

-- Lacey Terwin

Trouble

This is Trouble. Yes, that is his name -- as a kitten he was, but he is no longer. He is four-year-old Himalayan cat. He's an aloof protector of the family, often found sitting in the corner so he can watch over everyone!

-- Pat Newman

Nacho

Because it is so cold right now; Nacho, our Shih Tzu, will only go outside wearing his skull and crossbones socks. He sure looks cute and stylish battling Winnipeg's deep freeze!

-- Charlene Baraniuk
