Obey the Giant: The Shepard Fairey Story

YOU may know street artist/entrepreneur/designer Shepard Fairey from the iconic imagery used during Barack Obama's presidential campaign or from the ubiquitous Andre the Giant stencils that became the foundation for his clothing and lifestyle company, Obey.

Funded through a Kickstarter campaign that raised more than $65,000 last year for rookie filmmaker Julian Marshall, Obey the Giant: The Shepard Fairey Story is a short film about the artist's time at Rhode Island School of Design and looks at his first street art campaign and how that grew into a million-dollar clothing, art, design and apparel line.

The fascinating documentary is now available online and can be viewed free.

Stream of the Week: Daft Punk -- Get Lucky

AFTER weeks of speculation, false leaks, remixes cobbled together from TV ads and teaser loops, French electronic duo Daft Punk finally released the official radio edit of their collaboration with Pharrell (the Neptunes) and legendary Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers. Already the unofficial anthem of the summer, Get Lucky has that instantly timeless feel that builds on the freewheeling disco-influenced esthetic of their past albums.

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter have kept their fourth album, Random Access Memories, tightly under wraps. The Parisian electronic duo have managed to keep the album from leaking to the web, but also have been slowly building the mystery and anticipation around the album through a series of ads on Saturday Night Live, at Coachella and with a web campaign that includes video interviews with some of the collaborators on the album (Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards, Nile Rodgers and Pharrell) and effective use of social media tools like Vine, YouTube and Twitter. The album hits stores and will be available online May 16.

Video of the Week: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire -- Exclusive Teaser Trailer

The series has recently surpassed the Harry Potter series as a bestseller according to Amazon, the leading online retailer for books.
