Jessica Cuddy

Perfecting a true style can take years to blend with your personality. Jessica Cuddy is proud and confident with her style choices compared with the past, when her clothing decisions were based on the notion of "what's in," which can be frustrating for many body types. "Style has always been apart of my life. I'm 23 and I feel comfortable with myself in knowing what my style is, I feel very solid as I've got older." Cuddy says.

She was on her break from work grabbing some sun and some food on a Tuesday afternoon in Osborne Village.

What she wore...

A perfect spring look with a chunky sweater a backpack, sweet lace stockings and a funky pair of flat shoes and wide, angled glasses.

Skirt -- Out of the Blue.

Sweater -- "My sweater's from Aritzia."

Blouse -- "This is vintage."

Tights -- Forever 21.

Shoes -- "Italy. It was a little winery town in Tuscany. It was a small village and they had a whole bunch of leather goods in 2010."

Glasses -- Osborne Spectacle.

Backpack -- "It's from Marshalls."

Bow -- American Apparel

Necklace -- A handmade piece from Tara Davis, in the Exchange.

Fashion essential

"Tights, I wear them all the time even in the summer. I guess I'm always cold, I find it's a nice way to add a fun colour. I wear a lot of skirts and dresses I always feel better in a dress and more myself. For the past few years my style has changed quite a bit, I have become more feminine. I have a vintage bohemian inspired look, which probably has something to do with working at Out Of the Blue."

Style inspiration

"My aunt, she lives in Chicago and she's a big thrifter. She can wear absolutely anything and she has the best fashion sense, she can go into any store and find something different. She's sent me clothes through the years.. Out of the Blue has been a really good fit for me style-wise. Even before I started working there I've always been into the vintage styles that they've offered. Most of the girls that work there too are really into the vintage thing as well. We inspire each other. "

Fashion tip

"Just have fun. I use to get down on myself because I didn't look good in what the other girls wore but once I let go of that idea I wear what I feel good in and I've had a lot more fun with my style."

What does style do for you?

"There are days I'm not stylish but it always helps me to seek out inspiration, whether its Instagram or in magazines. There's always something for everyone. It does affect your confidence."
