Streetstyle: John Koroma

Looking flawless, Koroma sat on a bench in a spot seemingly designed to attract a photographer's eye. Unbeknownst to him, we took a few snaps as he contentedly browsed through the paper and listened to the street music that he says heals your soul. A recent graduate in political science and economics, Koroma intends to make a difference in people's lives and treats his style with that same respect.

What he wore...

BLAZER --"It's Alfani from The Bay."

BUTTON-UP -- "This is Tommy Hilfiger, from The Bay as well."

T-SHIRT -- Calvin Klein

JEANS -- Levi's

BOOTS -- "Boots are from England."

HAT -- "My hat is Kangol; it's from a hat store in Montreal."

NECKLACE -- "I exchanged this necklace with my cousin in Africa, so when I go back I'll get mine."

RING - "I bought this ring in Vancouver."

Fashion essential

"A lot of my suits are Hugo Boss. They fit me very well; I like the pants, the way they're cut... I took fashion in high school -- we call it tailoring; you study the history of clothing. It's not just the look, it's the cotton, the ink and the trim -- you can tell the quality of the clothes. I like Hugo Boss because they go through inspection. It has to look perfect -- that's why sometimes the clothes are expensive."

Fashion tip

"If it looks good, you can walk with confidence. It just takes away the pain and the stress of life; it makes you feel good about yourself."
