Justin Broesky

Hair stylists are trendsetters; being creative with their clients is the most enjoyable part of their jobs. Stylist Justin Broesky says, "People tend to stick with what they know looks good, but when we can get a little extra snazzy, we do. Clients like it when we can be creative and have it look good." Working in a salon, Broesky can also be creative with his clothing, accessorizing with hats and drawing inspiration from his work and the stylish co-workers around him.

What he wore....

SWEATER -- "West 49 in St. Vital."

HAT --- "Online, Amazon.com. I normally get hats online."

JEANS -- "They are Levis; I think they're from The Bay."

SHOES -- "I can't remember. I think I got them when I was in Arizona."

GLASSES - "Spare Parts in Polo Park."

BRACELET --- "This is a friendship bracelet, homemade," says Broesky with a laugh.

Fashion essential

"My hat, because it's just easier to throw on a hat. I would prefer to sleep in than to style my hair; I like to do other people's hair. I have a handful of hats that I got online, because they're normally cheaper than in the stores. I got one in the city here that was $80 and then I found the exact same one (online) for $20, so I've just been sticking with that."

Style inspiration

"I look at a lot of celebrity magazines. I work at a hair salon so there's definitely a lot of young people. I love layering clothes. It's never one shirt; it's always a bunch underneath each other -- that's why I love fall, because you can layer on the clothing. I care about what I put on. I try on at least six different outfits before I go out. It's never the first outfit that I leave the house in."

"Find clothes that fit and that are tailored to your body."
