Personal styles should evolve as we age and change to what is appropriate to our professions and lifestyles.
Rawleigh Clements-Willis had a change of art and style after a friend opened up a clothing store in the heart of the Exchange District. He changed from sports wear -- track pants and runners -- to sophisticated casual button-ups and the new latest trendy pants for men.
What he wore...
Shirt -- "Billabong from Ordnry Clothing."
Pants -- "Zanerobe pants from Ordnry Clothing as well."
Shoes -- Converse.
Watch and earrings -- "Mark Ecko from City Jewelers."
"I have lots of Zanerobes, I have these in every colour possible, and they are my favourite pants. They look really urban casual and they are comfy, almost like wearing sweats. You see girls wearing Lululemons for the comfortableness, these are like that for guys but they are stylish."
What would you wear Zanerobe pants with?
"Usually a button-up, tanks, or long-sleeve shirts. You can roll them up because they're tapered at the bottom. You can really wear them with anything and they will look good. I have six pairs and growing. I have a couple of camouflage pairs, I have a tan pair, dark green, lighter tan, charcoal and black pair."
"The mannequins at my buddy's store, Ordnry Clothing. I surf the web a bit, I browse street style accounts on Instagram from all over. Urban casual style inspires me. It all comes back to my buddy's store. I follow him and he follows the trends of his favourite rap artists, that's what I hear him talking about, he'll look into that brand if he sees them wearing something different. Before the store, I would wear a lot more sports clothes from Foot Locker where I worked.
Would you say your friend the storeowner is your style inspiration?
"Yeah I would say that, now, we used to live together he would steal my shoes. My favourites were the Nike Air Max 90 because they came in a million different colours and they are super comfortable. I have about 25 shoes, my nicest ones are at the front door."
