X-Weighted brings health message to city, April 14

THE Canadian-made weight-loss TV show X-Weighted is taking its healthy-living message on the road -- bringing its X-Weighted Connect tour to Winnipeg on Saturday, April 14.

The daylong event, which takes place at Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute, features Dr. David Macklin, personal trainer Paul Plakas and performance coach Steffany Hanlen. The tour's stated goal is to help individuals create a personal blueprint for weight-loss success.

X-Weighted airs on the Slice cable network.

Tickets for the tour are $99.95; a package including event ticket, workbook and Paula Plakas boot-camp session is available for $139.90. Tickets are available online at http://www.xweighted.ca/x-weighted-connect-tour-2012.
