August 20

7th annual Tailgate Association of Manitoba Show and Swap. (Rain date Sunday, August 21). 9 a.m.-3p.m. Headingley Community Centre, Trans-Canada Hwy at Headingley traffic lights. Clean out your garage and bring your used auto parts down to sell or swap, or stop by and look for that missing piece of your mechanical puzzle. There will also be a car show on site open to all classic and special interest vehicles. Both the swap meet and the car show are FREE to all vendors, participants and spectators. August 21

Cruise Night at the Pony Corral Restaurant and Bar 400 Wilton @ Grant Ave. 4:00pm to 10:00pm. All antique, classics and special interest vehicles are welcome. This week's feature car club is the Fabulous 50's Ford Club of Manitoba.

Cruisin' the Peg

Tavern United, 826 Regent Ave. W. 6:00 to 10:00pm. All classics, antiques, muscle, sports, specialty vehicles & motorcycles are welcome.

August 25

"Cruisin' for a Cause" Presented by the A&W - 1875 Pembina Hwy. and the Fabulous 50's Ford Club of Manitoba. In support of MS Society of Canada. "Show & Shine" - 6pm-9pm. For every Teen Burger sold, $1.00 will be donated to the MS Society. Cruise on out and enjoy tasty burgers, fries and a root beer. Manitoba Street Rod Association in conjunction with A&W's Cruisin' For a Cure at the A&W Restaurant, 1520 Portage Ave. Great fun, great friends and great food. Tuesday, August 25 from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Prizes every 1/2 hour. All welcome. Contact Craig Falconer (204) 792-7703 or msra@msra.mb.ca.
