Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION

Jason Bell

Breaking News Editor

  • Print

After writing for newspapers and corporate newsletters in Arborg, Selkirk, Brandon and Winnipeg (and selling Sealy beds, too), Jason Bell finally made it to the big time in 2002.

He spent his first nine months at the Free Press as a sports reporter, moved into news in 2003 as a general assignment reporter, was promoted to assistant city editor in 2007 and breaking news editor in 2012.

Jason has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Winnipeg and a diploma in journalism from Red River College... and still a pretty good understanding of the mattress industry.
