Phil Hossack

Photojournalist

Phil Hossack joined the Free Press in 1983 after four years working for the Brandon Sun.

He covers all aspects of news, sports and feature photojournalism and has been honoured by the National Press Photographers, the Western Canadian Press Photographers and the Canadian Press for his work, which has appeared worldwide.

In 2008, Hossack won a citation of merit in the National Newspaper Awards for a feature photo of lightning illuminating an abandoned grain elevator near Sanford.
