Yellowhead RCMP are reporting a 14-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Onanole, Manitoba Saturday is in stable condition.
On Saturday shortly before 2:30 p.m., Yellowhead Area RCMP were dispatched to a vehicle and pedestrian collision on Highway 10 at Victor Road.
Investigations found a 2004 Chevrolet Impala going northbound on Highway 10 struck the 14-year-old girl who was trying to cross the highway.
The Impala driver, a 70-year-old woman from the Minnedosa area, was not injured. The 14-year-old was seriously injured and taken to hospital in Winnipeg.
RCMP continue to investigate the incident with the help of a traffic collision analyst.
