$17K worth of drugs seized during police raid

Four men and one male youth have been arrested after more than $17,000 worth of drugs was found in a residence in Westwood on Tuesday.

Winnipeg police said today several police units, including the Tactical Support Team and Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a house on Canoe Bay at about 2:20 p.m.

Police said they found 899 grams of marijuana, worth a street value of $13,485, 260 grams of psilocybin, worth a street value of $3,900, 166 non-prescription Tylenol 3 pills, worth $83, and seven grams of cocaine worth $560.

All five have been released on a promise to appear in court.
