2 teens sought after man stabbed during robbery at pawn shop

WINNIPEG -- A 75-year-old man is in stable condition in hospital after being stabbed during a robbery at his Sherbrook Street pawn shop early Tuesday night, police say.

Police are looking for two teenage boys in connection with the stabbing and robbery.

The pawn shop owner was closing his store at 6:30 p.m. when he was stabbed several times in the upper body after being confronted by two males, who fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police say.

The robbers are described as males, 16-17 years of age, average build, approximately 5’10" in height, both concealing their identity.
