  • Print

RCMP are reminding people to lock their homes at all times following a scary incident in Île des Chênes over the weekend.

Shortly before midnight on Saturday, a male suspect entered an unlocked garage and made his way into the house. Finding his way into the master bedroom, the man climbed into the bed where a 27-year-old woman was sleeping.

After a brief struggle, the man fled the scene. St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP say there were three children home at the time of the incident.

No description was given of the suspect. There were no injuries.

If anyone has any information on this home invasion, please contact St Pierre-Jolys RCMP at 204-433-7433.
