7,000 shots given at seasonal flu clinics

WINNIPEG — More than 7,000 seasonal flu vaccinations were administered on the first day of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seasonal influenza campaign.

The WHRA said 150 volunteers assisted at the 12 flu clinics, with 7,053 vaccinations administered.

The clinics continue today until 9 p.m. and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

No appointments are necessary but people should bring their Manitoba Health card.
