A balmy November day -- enjoy it while it lasts

  • Print

Get out there and enjoy the day, folks, because there may not be another one like this for a while.

Environment Canada is calling for mainly cloudy skies in Winnipeg today with a daytime high of 5 C finding us later this afternoon. The normal highs for this time of season is -2 C.

Tonight, look for overcast conditions and a low of -2 C. That sure beats the -11 C we would typically see at this time of year.

Sunday is also looking pleasant, though there is a good chance of the white stuff falling from the sky. The forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of flurries in the morning and afternoon, with a high temperature hovering around the 3 C mark.

Environment Canada expects things to start cooling off next week; highs only reaching the -7 C to -10 C range around Thursday and Friday.
