Annual rappelling event supports Manitobans with disabilities

  • Print

You can find your inner Batman, Robin or Batgirl thanks to a highrise fundraiser for Manitobans with disabilities.

The Society for Manitobans Foundation/Easter Seals is holding its 2013 Easter Seals Drop Zone rappelling event on Aug. 15, but it is holding an information night on April 11 at 5:30 p.m. for people who might be interested in taking part.

There are only 100 rappel spots available for people who want to rappel 60 metres (200 feet) down the side of the 17-storey RBC building at 220 Portage Avenue. To participate, you have to raise $1,500 for the fundraiser.

For more information or to RSVP call 204-975-3084 or email dropzone@smd.mb.ca
