Anvil to play at Osborne Village Inn

The Big Air Metal Fest won’t be taking off this weekend, so Anvil will hit the Zoo.

The all-day music festival was scheduled to take place Saturday at Adrenaline Adventures, but was cancelled this week, so event headliner Anvil will now play the bar in the Osborne Village Inn. Admission is $20.

Local bands the Metal Years and 88 Miles N’ Hour will open.

Anvil is on the road in support of its 2011 album, Juggernaut of Justice, the veteran Toronto band’s 14th release.

Adrenaline Adventures did not respond to inquiries as to why the festival was cancelled but ticket holders can get refunds at point of purchase, according to the event website.
