Arson blamed for fire that destroyed community centre at Crane River

Arson is being blamed for a fire that destroyed the J.A.R. Centre at Crane River First Nation late Tuesday night, McCreary RCMP said.

Officers arrived on the scene about 11:30 p.m. to find the community centre engulfed in flames. Estimates of damages are not available.

RCMP along with investigators from the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner are investigating.

The fire is considered arson.

No one was in the building at the time of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
