Artbeat Studio is proud to launch the 12th bi-annual group exhibition ‘Infinite Connections’ at its Albert Street studio this evening. The works, put together by a group of local artists that include Clint Roscoe, Emily Wasyluk, Graeme Brown, Jaclyn Suttorp, Karolina Ciporski, Katrina Koltek, Lee Pauls, Monica Curry, and Robert Scott St. Germain, showcase the experiences each has had working through individual mental health challenges and the path to wellness each has found.
The not-for-profit studio was founded by Nigel Bart and his family, as a response to his own experiences living with schizophrenia. One out of every five Canadians experience some form of mental illness.
The opening reception is tonight, starting at 7 o’clock. Exhibition hours are from noon-5 p.m. and the viewing runs until Jan. 29.
