The Winnipeg Art Gallery has announced the lineup for its rooftop summer concert series.

Known for decades as Jazz on the Rooftop, last year the series expanded its musical scope to include other genres, including opera and blues.

The concerts take place on selected Thursdays throughout the summer. Tickets are $21 for WAG members, $25 for non-members. New this year is a series subscription, five concerts for the price of four. A barbecue dinner from Storm Bistro is available for $25 and there is a cash bar.

The 2013 concert lineup features:

  • June 20: JP Hoe
  • July 4: Manitoba Opera
  • Aug. 8: Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, Blues in the Night
  • Aug. 15: Jodie Borlé in a tribute to Cole Porter
  • Aug. 29: Big Dave McLean
