Packed house greets Chris Hadfield at News Café

The man who became a worldwide sensation for his exploits in space stopped by the Winnipeg Free Press News Café for a live and interactive interview Wednesday.

Chris Hadfield, the now-retired astronaut who chronicled life aboard the International Space Station and posted pictures and videos on Facebook and Twitter, is on a tour to promote his new book An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth.

Hadfield, who has nearly a million Twitter followers, was interviewed by reporter Geoff Kirbyson at the News Café Wednesday afternoon.

Fans came out in droves and asked Hadfield plenty of questions.
