Autopsy shows death wasn`t caused by foul play

An autopsy shows the death of a man in Lockport earlier this month wasn’t the result of foul play, RCMP report.

Police are not releasing the man’s name or cause of death.

Initially his death was treated as suspicious.

On July 11, East St Paul RCMP and area emergency services were dispatched to a report of an adult male in medical distress in Lockport.

The man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The death was investigated by the Selkirk and East St Paul RCMP with assistance from the RCMP Winnipeg forensic identification section and RCMP major crimes.
