The snow will end this morning, but the wind will pick up and the temperature will drop to -13 C with a wind chill making it feel like -25 this afternoon in Winnipeg.
Environment Canada says the city can expect two centimetres of snow this morning and a north wind at 30 kilometres per hour. Roads and highways in and around the city are slick, so drive with caution.
The temperature is expected to fall -20 C overnight. With the north wind, it should feel like -29.
Thursday’s forecast high of -5 C will feel like -27 thanks to a 30 km/h southwest wind. At least it should be sunny, with clear skies Friday and Saturday with highs of -10 C expected both days.
There is a 60 per cent chance of flurries Sunday and a high of 0 C.
