  • Print

After playing to more than 70,000 fans across the country in celebration of its 25th anniversary in 2013, Blue Rodeo is starting 2014 on the road in support of forthcoming studio album, In Our Nature. The veteran country rock outfit will roll into the MTS Centre on Jan. 23, 2014.

Tickets are $55.50 and $75.50 at Ticketmaster and go on sale Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. For diehard fans and their friends, a special Me+3 4-Pack will be on sale for $124.

In Our Nature, Blue Rodeo’s 13th album, is due out Oct. 29. The band road-tested several of the new tracks during this year’s run of anniversary shows. "Doing a lot of touring while making this record helped a lot," says guitarist/vocalist Greg Keelor in a release. "Everybody was getting along and the band was playing well together. It’s a good crop of songs and everyone just played it right and they played it beautifully."

Keelor and co. figure that January’s string of dates, which begins in Vancouver on Jan. 2 and ends in Montreal on March 2, will be their 50th tour of Canada.
