Bockstael sponsors dressing room at Southdale Community Centre

A construction firm has announced they will sponsor the maintenance of a dressing room at Southdale Community Centre.

This morning, Bockstael Construction Limited announced it will contribute $24,000 for the naming rights of a dressing room at the community club. Proceeds of the sponsorship will support the maintenance of the dressing room at the community centre for the next 10 years, officials said.

Earlier this summer, the community centre hiked the fees it charges for ringette and hockey from $85 per family to $110 per player. The community centre's board of directors said those fees are going up partly because of unexpected costs but also to cover some of the cost of Southdale's $9.4-million expansion.
