Boy hit on Langside in critical condition

A boy hit by a vehicle just before 9 a.m. Wednesday remains in critical condition this morning, say police who are asking anyone who saw the accident to contact them.

The 10-year-old was crossing Langside Street walking west on Westminster Avenue when he was struck by the vehicle travelling southbound on Langside.

The police investigation continues. Anyone with information about the accident who has not yet spoken with police is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6271or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
