Brace yourselves for chilly weekend, folks

  • Print

Usually, we eagerly anticipate Friday's arrival, but this week? Maybe not so much.

That's because after a couple of mild days of melting, our weather turns cold again by week's end.

Look for a high today of 1 C under mostly cloudy skies, while Thursday's projected high is 0 C as we enjoy some sunshine peeking through.

But the air turns cold again on Friday. Environment Canada is calling for a mostly sunny day and a daytime high of just -10 C. We'll have bright, blue skies on Saturday, however, we're looking at a high of -15 C and an overnight low of, ugh, -24 C.

Sunday's high is just -11 C, while things warm only slightly for the start of a new week: -6 C on Monday and - 9 C on Tuesday.
