REPLAY: Bridging the divide with stars of The Divide

Usually, a divide exists between movie stars and the people who watch the movies.

Ironically, that is not the case when it comes to the cast of the post-apocalyptic thriller The Divide. Actors from that Winnipeg-shot film, including Michael Biehn, Michael Eklund, Jennifer Blanc (Mrs. Biehn), and local child actress Abbey Thickson will join with producer Darryn Welch and writer Eron Sheehan to participate in a question and answer session following the invitation-only premiere Thurday night at Polo Park Silver City.

Getting a jump on that event, Winnipeg Free Press film writer Randall King engaged in a Q&A with those cast and crew members at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café at 237 McDermot Ave. at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The interview session, which was open to the public, was webcast live at www.winnipegfreepress.com.
