Campaign targets impaired drivers
Police are asking residents of Portage la Prairie to report drunk or high drivers in a new campaign.
The Report Impaired Drivers (RID) campaign is being done by the Portage RCMP detachment, along with Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI), the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission and MADD Canada.
Brandon has already taken part in the campaign, which means people are encouraged to call 911 for emergency help if they spot a vehicle that looks like it’s driven by an impaired driver.
