Casino announces concerts, including Bret Michaels

The odds are good the casino will draw a crowd for these shows.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels will bring his solo show to the McPhillips Station Casino on Oct. 21 as part of his Get Your Rock On Tour. Tickets for the gig go on sale Aug. 9 for $65 to $85, plus service fees and taxes, at Ticketmaster.

Michaels made his name as frontman of Los Angeles-based glam-rock group Poison in the 1980s before launching a solo career. He also gained notoriety for starring in the reality-television dating show Rock of Love With Bret Michaels. He won reality competition Celebrity Apprentice 3 in 2010.

The Michaels concert was just one of five fall casino shows announced. All tickets will be available at Ticketmaster on the date stated, but prices don’t include taxes and service fees.

The others include:

  • The Irish Rovers, Oct. 22. Tickets on sale Thursday for $25 and $35.
  • Boyz II Men, Oct. 25. Tickets on sale Friday for $50 and $60.
  • Michelle Wright, Nov. 1. Tickets on sale Aug. 10 for $25 and $30.
  • April Wine, Nov. 2. Tickets on sale Aug. 10 for $25 and $30.
