Charge upgraded in fatal collision on overpass ramp

A charge against a 27-year-old man has been upgraded in the death of a pedestrian hit by a car on the overpass ramp at the south Perimeter Highway on Sept 30 about 3:55 in the morning.

Police said today the charge against the driver has been upgraded to fail to remain at the scene of an accident cause death. He is also charged with driving without a licence.

A family member confirmed that Brandon Flis was the 18-year-old man who died after being hit by the car.
