Southern Manitoba is not quite ready for the winter chill yet.
That’s the takeaway from the Environment Canada forecast today, as things looks to warm up over the next couple days once again.
For Saturday, look for mainly sunny skies, a cool wind from the northeast and a high of only 12 C but after that, the daytime temperatures are expected to be in the low to high teens.
Sunday and Monday should see mainly sunny skies and highs around 17 C. Tuesday’s forecast looks to be warmer, with initial projections calling for sunshine and 19 C.
The nights will be cool, though; a reminder of what’s coming in the next few months. Tonight’s low is expected to fall below zero.
