Chilly start to the day

Spring really is on the way, but you wouldn’t know that by this morning’s brisk -22 C and a windchill of -28.

Environment Canada calls for temps to climb to -7 today with sunny skies.

It looks better Thursday when the high is -4 but more clouds. Friday the high dips down to -14 and return of blue skies.

The national weather office calls for a high of -11 Saturday and -9 Sunday.

The minimum normal for this time of year is -11.
