City extends compost bin, rain barrel sale

WINNIPEG — The city has extended the sale prices for compost bins and rain barrels until June 30 after selling out of both items at a a one-day sale last Saturday.

The bins sold out by noon and rain barrels were gone by 9 a.m. at the sale, held in three locations around the city.

Winnipeggers who didn't make it in time can still get $30 bins and $50 barrels by ordering and paying in advance with a major credit card. To order, call 1-800-894-8397, ext. 824, or email pdeandrade@norsemanplastics.com.

Customers will receive receipts by email or mail and must bring them to pick up their bins.

Bins will be available for pick-up July 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Vital Centennial Arena, 580 St. Anne's Road.
