Police 'copter called out after 3 fires set overnight

WINNIPEG -- Fire crews battled yet another garage fire overnight, this one in West Broadway.

It began at about 3:45 a.m. behind 126 Furby St. near the Sherbrook Hotel. Firefighters on scene said there were no injuries but police were cruising the area looking for suspects, and the police helicopter spent much of the early morning flying over the area.

Not long after, a fence was set on fire in the 100 block of Sherbrook Avenue, and then a shed went up in flames in the 900 block of McMillan Avenue.
